What is the Trezor® Suite App?
The Trezor® Suite App is the official desktop application for managing cryptocurrency with a Trezor® Hardware Wallet. It provides a local, privacy-first interface for sending, receiving, and organizing assets while keeping your private keys safely on the device.
Getting started — download & setup
Begin at trezor.io/start where the Suite Download links and platform instructions are available. The recommended workflow:
- Download Trezor Suite for Windows, macOS or Linux from the official site.
- If prompted, install Trezor Bridge — the system component that lets the desktop app communicate with the hardware wallet. See Trezor Bridge Download on trezor.io.
- Connect your Trezor® Hardware Wallet and follow the on-screen setup steps to initialize or restore a device.
Logging in and security
The Suite uses a local password or optional integrations to manage profiles; the private keys always remain on the Trezor® device. For Trezor login or Trezor Wallet Login issues, confirm Bridge is running and your device firmware is up to date.
Troubleshooting common issues
- Trezor Suite App not Working: Restart the Suite, reconnect the device, reinstall Trezor Bridge, and check USB cables/ports.
- Can't verify Trezor Wallet / Error Connecting Trezor Account: Ensure no other app (browser wallet extensions) claims the device; try a different USB port and disable VPNs.
- Trezor Login not working / Unable to login Trezor: Update firmware, clear cached sessions in the app, and reinstall Trezor Suite if needed.
- Trezor 2fa reset: Trezor devices do not store third-party 2FA seeds; follow provider recovery steps and check Trezor Help Center for specific guidance.
Account recovery
If you lose access to your device, Trezor® Account Recovery is accomplished using your recovery seed (the 12–24 word phrase). Keep this phrase offline and secure — never enter it into a computer or website. Use a new Trezor® device or compatible recovery tool when restoring.
Support & resources
For persistent problems, consult the Trezor Help Center on the official site, which contains step-by-step articles and official links. Avoid unofficial downloads to reduce risk.
